About Dr. Chuck Pender

Charles E. "Chuck" Pender, PhD, FMT is a retired Board-Certified Psychotherapist, Certified Temperament Therapist, and Pastor Evangelist of Glimpse of Heaven Ministries.

With a rich background spanning civil rights advocacy, hospital chaplaincy, academic instruction, and Christian counseling, Dr. Pender has dedicated his life to the intersection of faith and healing. His work in Creation Therapy — a kingdom readjustment framework — addresses depression, anxiety, loneliness, rejection, and other emotional adversities through the lens of Yeshua's life and teachings.

President Emeritus of the American Society of Christian Therapists VA and the International Association of Christian Counseling Professionals, Dr. Pender's eleven published works span theology, social commentary, urban faith narrative, and the landmark EDC Hebrew-English Chronological Bible series. He currently leads Everyday Church Inc. and the Jesus in the Hood Trilogy Productions — a cinematic gospel project releasing in 2026.
